From the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network: Florida NP Network Annual Conference Orlando

Join us August 22nd and 23rd in Orlando for the 11th annual Florida Nurse Practitioner Conference "Freedom to Practice-Charting our Course".

The past legislative session was historic. For the first time, ARNP legislation was introduced to committees in both the House and the Senate. On Saturday afternoon, in recognition of their ARNP support, we are awarding both Senator Grimsley and Representative Pigmen with "Legislator of the Year" award. We will also recognize Allison Carvajal with "Advocate of the Year" award for her hard work.

This year in preparation for the upcoming legislative session, FNPN will host a special "Fireside Chat" with Senator Denise Grimsley and Representative Cary Pigmen MD. Both legislators were instrumental in getting ARNP legislation to committee. Senator Denise Grimsley and Representative Cary Pigmen MD will be discussing strategies for success in the upcoming legislative session.
