Were pleased to announce that Barbara Safriet is one of three keynote speakers at the upcoming FNPN "Freedom to Practice-Charting Our Course" conference on August 22-23rd at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista, FL. Her esteemed career as an advocate of nurse practitioners started with her seminal paper in the Yale Law Journal in 1993 entitled Health Care Dollars and Regulatory Sense: The Role of Advanced Practice Nursing.

She is currently teaching as a Visiting Professor of Health Law at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. Today she continues to write legal opinions on local and federal levels that voice support for important issues.
