Participation Needed for New NP Survey

Posted over 14 years ago by Karen Blankenship

Dear FNPN Colleague;

We are conducting a study that is investigating nurse practitioner practice in the management of persons who are either overweight or obese; as well as collecting information about physical activity.  As you know the U.S. and other developed countries are experiencing profound increases of persons who are overweight and obese. The survey will ask you basic information regarding your usual practice when caring for this population. The survey is completely voluntary and available online and all responses are confidential. It should take you no more than 10 to 15 minutes to answer. In addition to the clinical information we are asking questions about how you currently obtain most of your continuing education credits now, and how you would prefer to obtain your continuing education credits in the future.

It is our hope to gain a better understanding of the typical practices of nurse practitioners in managing this health crisis and comparing our outcomes to those of other health care professionals in an effort to improve care across the continuum. Your time and effort is GREATLY appreciated. The link is http://tinyurl.com/FAU-NP-Survey
