Educational Opportunity now scheduled for Nov 12!

FGCU School of Nursing is excited to announce a new initiative, “From Symptom to Diagnosis: Enhancing Diagnostic Reasoning Through Case Studies,” to improve patient outcomes through collaborative learning and discussion. We will host monthly virtual presentations as “Lunch and Learns” for preceptors, faculty, and students. This initiative aims to identify key concepts and facts related to the case study, explain the rationale behind the chosen interventions or treatments presented in the case, evaluate patient data, synthesize clinical information, and formulate differential diagnoses based on evidence and clinical reasoning. By drawing on real-world experiences and knowledge, we may collectively address challenges, share innovative solutions, reduce errors in care, and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
