White Mass and Spirituality Symposium

Posted 11 months ago by Christina Dzioba

Each year, St. Agnes Church in Naples hosts a lovely White Mass (you do not need to be Catholic to attend), during which they bless your stethoscope. This year, it is OCTOBER 19th.

Mass begins at 8:30 a.m. and is immediately followed by a lovely breakfast and speaker at 9:30 a.m. If you don’t attend the mass, you are still welcome to come to the presentation and receive 1 CEU along with breakfast. This year's speaker is Dr. Sulmasy, the André Hellegers Professor of Biomedical Ethics in the Departments of Medicine and Philosophy at Georgetown University. You should wear a white coat if you have one and bring your stethoscope.

Registration for the symposium and 1 CEU is $30 Students are welcome to attend - cost is $20 for them! Register at https://www.stagnesnaples.org/white-mass

I plan to do the Starability Walk, Run, and Roll at 8 a.m. and then head directly to the breakfast and symposium, which starts at 9:30. Please join me. If you aren't doing the walk, please attend mass, and we will meet you there!
