Naples Shelter for Abused Women & Children Christmas Donation Drive

Well it is hard to believe it is nearly the end of 2022! Now is the time for the annual NPCCC gift giving drive benefiting The Naples Shelter for Abused Women & Children. This year more than any year in the recent past, the Women's Shelter is in need of donations. The Shelter Manager spoke with a member of our Executive Board saying, The Shelters Option Shoppe sustained extensive damage from Hurricane Ian. The thrift store was a primary source of income and goods for the Shelter. The repairs are expected to cost millions of dollars and the store may not reopen until 2024, as a result. While the women and children are safe, there is a real need for donations this year. 

The NPCCC Executive Board agreed to match up to $200 of cash or gift card donations. Ruth Girlando will collect donations at the December 8 NPCCC meeting. We will be collecting donations until the ninth of December. If you’re unable to attend and would like to donate Ruth will accept donations of unwrapped toys, gift cards, cash or checks at these two additional sites:
