NPCCC ELECTIONS

Hello Members,

We have 5 positions available this even year. The people who have shown intrest in running are as follows for your review. Elections will be held NEXT week.

1. VP LEGSILATION- SUSIE HEMBERGER

I am currently serving as your VP of Legislation of NPCCC. I have offered to help the organzation when in need, and would like continue to serve the organzaton. So, please consider me for the VP of Legislation, I would like to complete the 2018/19 term. I currently work for Dr. James Gifford of Moorings Park and I am also the Director of Resident Care. As your representive I would keep you udated & informed on the lastest policies and changes that may occur.

2. VP EDUCATION- DIANE PROODIAN

I have worked as an Adult/Geri NP for 21 years in Pulmonary medicine, Anesthesia and Thoracic Surgery. Prior to that I was working as a PACU, OR and ICU nurse for 20 years. For 5 years I coordinated the education/dinner  programs for North Shore Nurse Practitioners in MA, which is a large, active group. Now that I reside in Naples I look forward to serving the NPCCC group.

3. SECRETARY- ANNMARIE MORRISSEAU

I have been certified as an acute care nurse practitioner since 2010. I recently obtained a DNP degree from the University of Florida.

I am currently working for NCH MD Pulmonary and Critical Care (since 4/2012). I am your current secretary and I am running for re-election.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working with these fantastic board members for the past 2 years and have learned so much from their expertise and experience.

4. MARKETING CHAIRPERSON- JACKIE WYNN
 I have served as the Marketing Chair for the past two years, I have thoroughly enjoyed this position and have decided to run for re-election. Over the past two years, with the help and support of the Board and NPCCC as a whole, I have helped our group to participate in community events such as the JDRF and NAMI annual fundraising walks. We have started to gain a presence on social media via Facebook in hopes of keeping current members up to date with local events, news, and updates, and to recruit new members. I have designed t-shirts for our group and am currently working on a brochure for our council. I am committed to increase awareness of the role of nurse practitioners in our community and would be honored to serve as your marketing chair. 
5. 1 MEMBER AT LARGE- CHRISTINA DZIOBA
I am an active member of NPCCC. I attend most of the dinner meetings. Currently I am working in endocrinology and persuing my DNP. Athough I am busy, I feel passsionate about helping this vibrant and highly educated group in any way I can.
