UPCOMING NPCCC ELECTIONS- DESCRIPTION OF AVAILABLE POSITIONS

Hi NPCCC Members,

ELECTIONS WILL BE HELD VIA EMAIL BALLOT THE MIDDLE OF SEPTEMBER 

Positions avaiable - President (Bonnie Sealey), Treasurer (Colette Joseph), Membership Chairperson ( Valarie Hahn), Nominating Chairperson (Lisa Gonzalez), and 1 Member at Large ( Doreen Cassarino).

NONE OF THE CURRENT MEMBERS ARE TERMED-OUT 

President:  Serve as a leading representative of the NPCCC organization. Preside at all general membership meetings of the Council and Executive Committee, and act as ex-officio member of all committees, Appoint AD Hoc committees upon the recommendation of the Executive Committee, and serve as an advisory member of succeeding Executive Commitee for one year. 

Treasurer: Collaborate with the Membership chairperson to facilitate timely renewal notices to general Council membership, maintain complete and accurate finacial records and balances of NPCCC business, provide a financial report at Executive Committee meetings, submit a yearly finacial summary report to Executive Committe members, and prepare NPCCC financial records for review by an independent auditor. 

Membership Chairperson: Collaborate with the Treasurer to electroncally send yearly membership renewal notices, maintain an accurate monthly account of paid membership dues to be shared with the Treasurer, responsible for annual membership renewal, maintain the computerized membership list on a continual basis, and increase membership by active recruitment.

Nominating Chairperson: Develop and maintain a timeline for yearly Council elections, prepare an email ballot for the August Council general meeting each year, recruit candidates for each office to be filled on the NPCCC Board, chairman of the Bylaws Committee, and review/revise Bylaws at least every 4 years on the ODD year.

Member At Large: Attend NPCCC Board meetings with full voting privileges, work on Sub-Commitees as needed, and be available to fill vacant positions mid-term as needed, excluding President.
