NATIONAL NURSE PRACTITIONER WEEK NOVEMBER 13-19, 2016
Posted over 7 years ago by Bonnie Sealey
As we anticipate our national NP Week and our 51st anniversary November 13-19, 2016, we also prepare for a new president and administration in Washington as well as new changes in our US Senate and here in Florida. We need to stay alert for the many legislative changes for NPs personally and professionally. AANP has posted this;
National Nurse Practitioner Week is held annually to celebrate these exceptional health care providers and to remind lawmakers of the importance of removing outdated barriers to practice so that NPs will be allowed to practice to the full extent of their experience and education.
Let's join together again and prepare for the positive changes ahead. The BODs of the Nurse Practitioner Council of Collier County NPCCC), Florida Nurse Practitioner Network (FNPN), and American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) will be actively tracking and supporting new legislation for NP practice. Keep in touch with this website for the latest updates.
Have a great NP 51st Anniversary celebration next week. November 13-19, 2016
