Breaking News: Barbara Lumpkin Controlled Substance Prescribing Act Signed!

The Florida Nurse Practitioner Network Board of Directors is pleased to announce the historic signing of the Barbara Lumpkin Controlled Substance Prescribing Act by Governor Scott. This long awaited piece of legislation will significantly improve access to care and reduce barriers to NP practice.

Thank you to each and everyone who visited and wrote their legislators and contributed to the PAC. Without the impact of Florida NPs with boots on the ground the bill might not have been passed and sent to the desk of our governor!
