Honoring NP Practice: Today & Beyond: A Tribute to Dr. Jan Towers
For years, Florida has benefited from the dedicated and tireless efforts of Dr. Jan Towers, AANP co-founder and the first lobbyist for all NPs traveling the nation and making advances for all NPs.
She is a snow bird who has vacationed in our state for many years and its time we in Florida stop and say thanks to her for all she has done!
Thanks to Kaiser University for hosting our location! This event is FREE, so come and join us! Students Welcomed!
Come and enjoy your morning breakfast and listen to Dr. Towers reflect on her health policy work past and present and predict what we need to do to move forward. You will learn about our dynamic health policy past and all the successes in national and state legislation that she has helped to forge ahead including how we got to be Medicare & Medicaid providers, authority to see federal employees as patients, perform certain types of physicals and get NPI numbers-all thanks to her!
Special Guests will pay tribute to Dr. Towers FNPN has a special surprise announcement too! It will be a great event and lots of fun!
